Volunteers Needed!
Looking for a front row seat at the ’26 UKI Spitfire Cup? We need lots of help to make this event happen! From setting up to formal jobs at the event, we’d really appreciate your support!
Minimum age requirement for volunteers is 14 years, with parental consent required for all minors.
Many jobs come with an honorarium! Those positions that do not have an honorarium will be entered into various prize draws – all sponsored by Paw Street Market.

Jobs
SETUP AND TAKEDOWN JOBS
- Venue Setup: Responsible for helping set up the venue on Friday at noon. No experience required!
- Venue Takedown: Responsible for helping clear the venue Sunday evening after the event. No experience required!
- Course Builders: Responsible for helping with equipment setup for each class/event. There will be multiple builds throughout the day.
RING JOBS – Honorarium – full day only
Friday to Sunday
- Gate Stewards: Responsible for announcing running orders and directing dog/handler teams to the line. Gate Stewards work closely with Ring Managers & Scribes. Gating experience preferred.
- Scribes: Responsible for entering faults and times of each run into the scoring software. Scribe experience required.
- Scribe Assistants: Responsible for entering score on manual tracking documents. Scribe experience preferred.
- Timers: Responsible for operating the timing system to time each run. Timers will work closely with the Scribes. Timing experience preferred.
- Ring Crew (Bar Setters & Leash Runners): Responsible for setting bars and special equipment in the ring, adjusting timing eyes, and leash running. No experience required, we will train you!
